Pioneer Lodge

Renovated in 1916, the PIONEER LODGE is located in the historic T. C. Power building, originally built in 1882, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The beautifully remodeled building overlooks the Missouri River and features spacious, quiet rooms on the main level, each decorated with a historic theme of Fort Benton.

Rooms are moderately priced from $40-$65. For larger groups, apartments of 2-3 bedrooms are available by elevator on the 2nd floor. Each smoke free room has remote-controlled cable TV, a spacious private bath, climate control room temperature, and is handicapped accessible. Business amenities such as fax and computer access are also available. Small pets are allowed with advance notice and a $25 deposit. We always honor state rates.

Upon registration, you will be offered a complimentary refreshing beverage and some history of the area. A free continental breakfast is available every morning from 6:30-10. Our peaceful lobby is a great place to enjoy the serenity of the Missouri River and its wildlife any time of the day. The PIONEER LODGE is family owned and operated, with the owners having Fort Benton roots dating back to the late 1800's. This smoke free facility is an ideal place for meetings or family gatherings, as all rooms open onto a spacious hallway leading into the friendly lobby.

		We are located within walking distance to all restaurants, shops and points of interest. The Old Fort Park, located two blocks away, contains a public Olympic-size pool, free tennis courts, a horseshoe area and a basketball court, museum, covered picnic areas and the remains of the original army fort.
		Room reservations can be made by phone and should be guaranteed with a credit card. A 24-hour advance notification is required for a cancellation refund. Check-Out time is by 11 a.m. and Check-In is after 12 noon.
